Luckily, the cheeztechs are able to grant one of those wishes today with the new “Show Conversation” feature. WINNING.
Simply go to your Messages and look for the little “Show Conversation” link.
Click on it and voila! You can see all messages between you and the sender.
And there you have it. Enjoy! As always, let us know if you have questions or comments.

Olivia: LOVELY! I was attempting to archive conversations back in ’08-09 & since then those files–in “Word”–have become insanely corrupted. I CAN go back and save the incomings from then, but may have not scribbled down my replies in highly antique longhand. I do believe we are creating a body of important interactive messaging that Smithsonian researchers would love to access up in the day (as opposed to “back in the day”) when they want to record the history of our ever-so-cute & insane I-net! I love what you ICHC mavens are doing. It gives me joy.

How odd…sounds like you may have found a bug. Are you clicking through the Messages page? The Show Conversation links should be there next to “Reply” and “Delete” on each message. I referred to them in the original blog post as “View Conversation”, but the actual wording you are looking for is “Show Conversation”. (sorry for the confusion, it’s a been a long week…) If you still aren’t seeing them, let me know what browser you are using and I’ll have the cheeztechs look into it.

Yes, I agree. We will be working on adding that feature (and the ability to turn off the emails if you don’t want them) sometime soon. Thanks for the suggestion!
May I also suggest notification if someone leaves a comment on one of your lols (both when they make the main page and otherwise)? I’ve found comments people left on mine literally a year or more later because I don’t often go back and view my own lols.
Thank you for the suggestion. We are planning to add some better notification features so it’s easier for you to know what’s going on with your LOL. For example, it would let you know when your LOL is posted on the voting page, when someone comments on it, or favorites it, etc. So yes, it’s in the works! Thanks!!
